Privacy
Tonos is quiet by design. Here, in plain language, is exactly what it does with your data: nothing.
What Tonos collects.
Nothing. Tonos does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or process any user data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporters, and no network requests of any kind.
Your keystrokes.
Every keystroke you make with Tonos stays on the device. The keyboard extension does not request Full Access, which is the iOS permission that would be required to send anything off the device in the first place. Because Full Access is not requested, it cannot be granted, and there is no path by which your typed text can leave your phone or tablet through Tonos.
Accounts and sign-in.
There are none. Tonos does not have user accounts. There is nothing to sign into, nothing to sign out of, nothing to forget, nothing for us to lose.
Network.
Tonos makes no network requests of its own. It does not phone home. It does not check for updates. It does not load remote configuration. There are no in-app purchases. App updates are handled entirely by the App Store.
Contacting support.
If you email support@motomatic.com for help, we will use your email address solely to reply. We do not add it to any list. We do not share it with anyone. If you ask us to delete the thread, we will.
Children.
Tonos does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Since it collects nothing at all, it cannot collect information from children.
Changes to this policy.
If anything about Tonos changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top revised. If the change is substantive, we will note what changed so readers can see it at a glance.
